Resident Elective

Second- and third-year Residents in Pediatrics (PL1 and PL2) are welcome to spend a month learning about the medical management of children with disabilities. Participation in multi-disciplinary clinics is an integral part of the experience. Opportunities are also provided for clinical experience in pediatric orthopedics, pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric dentistry, pediatric neurology, and in occupational therapy and physical therapy. Articles and a textbook are given to House Officers for them to keep. A series of eight lectures is provided. Participation in writing case reports is encouraged.
