Top Doctors 2012

Twenty-seven Duke Children’s doctors were recognized as Top Doctors by U.S. News & World Report in 2012. Doctors across the country nominated their peers as those who they believe are the most worthy of referral. The most important criterion for physician selection was excellence in patient care. Other criteria included education, residency, board-certification, fellowships, professional reputation, hospital affiliation, medical school faculty appointment, experience and disciplinary history.
The Duke Children’s physicians recognized by U.S. News are listed below. Each ranks as among the top 10 percent of U.S. physicians in their specialty. We congratulate all the physicians included in the 2012 guide and applaud their efforts in raising the standards of medicine even higher.
