Description
The Duke Pompe Disease Clinical & Research Program is delighted to host a gathering for individuals with late-onset Pompe disease and their families. Dr. Kishnani and the Duke Pompe team will hold clinic on Thursday and Friday, April 19 and 20, 2012 for new and return patients on a first-come-first-serve basis. On the evening of Friday, April 20, 2012 a patient social will provide a supportive environment for the establishment of peer-to-peer networks. The event concludes on Saturday, April 21, 2012 following a full day of presentations from our multidisciplinary team of experts on the condition. Featured topics will cover current and future directions in clinical treatment, management and research efforts for late-onset Pompe disease.
